Avoid Dr. Quartell! He might come off as a nice guy to start with, but he has zero respect for his patients! Kelly was the only reason I had a positive look towards tge practice and now that she's gone I suggest you avoid it! Save yourself the stress and find someone else!!!

Kelly is fantastic! She’s empathetic, knowledgeable and has the best bedside manners. I always have a great experience at every visit and the entire staff at Dr. Quartell’s office is amazing.

Had the most AMAZING birth experience with my second child with Kelly. She listened to my concerns and we made a birth plan TOGETHER and it was nothing short of magical. And I never thought I’d be one of those women who say that about birth especially after my first child’s traumatic birth experience with a horrible doctor. Would recommend both Kelly and Dr. Quartell 100%.

Dr. Quartell and Kelly are both wonderful. Kelly delivered my now 3 year old and Dr. Quartell just delivered my 1 week old. They both have amazing bedside manner and are very knowledgeable. They also take the time to answer any questions you may have. Would highly recommend them!

You may take acetaminophen (like brand-name Tylenol) for aches and pains. We will advise you regarding other medications for colds, coughs and other common ailments. We strongly advocate the use of chicken soup as a cold remedy.
A pap (smear) test that comes back abnormal means that there were some cells on the cervix that do not appear to look normal. This does not necessarily mean you have cervical cancer and in fact, the chances of that are usually small. Most often these cell changes disappear on their own , however; certain types of HPV are linked to cervical cancer, therefore, it is important to be screened for it every year- usually done at the time of your routine women’s gynecological exam. The abnormal cell changes may be caused by a type HPV (human papillomavirus) or they could be attributed to infections such as bacterial or yeast which can be treated. Post Menopausal women may have an abnormal pap smear because of the changes that come with getting older. Sexual behavior can affect your risk cell changes as well as smoking or an impaired immune system.
Laparoscopic surgery is a newer technique that allows for tiny navel and abdominal incisions through which smaller instruments can be introduced. It is less invasive than traditional “open” surgery, therefore, reducing trauma and pain, and shortening the recuperative period.
