Easiest buying experience I’ve had not being an employee at the dealership. Bailey & Trevor actually listened to me and were able to make a deal happen which is rare these days.

Very disappointed and frustrated. If I could I would give a Zero. I purchased a brand new 2022 Acura RDX A-spac at Acura Noth Scottsdale in December 2021. From January 2022, this car started to having problems, and that’s where the nightmare started. Multiple problems happened one after one. January 2022, I heard rattling noise from engine when I was sitting in the car, first time their mechanic told me that was normal engine noise, I believed and I left. But the noise became louder and louder. This time, I left my car there for 9 days, they changed the front left shock, because they believed that could be the reason caused the noise. But I noticed the noise was still there the next day, also it came with CarPlay disconnection and auto stop didn’t work. So I went back to the dealership again told them all the problems, but somehow, they only noted down the engine noise problem on the repair statement. I thought they just want to deal with the problem one at a time. After the 3rd time they finally fixed the engine noise, then when I mentioned about auto stop didn’t work, and the code was showing the system was warming up or charging and the CarPlay disconnected sometimes. The service manager Jason told me that auto stop didn’t work was normal, because Arizona was too hot, when the temperature was too high, the auto stop systems wouldn’t start for safety reasons. When I asked him why their loaner cars I used, all worked well when the temperature was even higher. He said “must be something wrong with that loaner car”. Then I showed him the picture I took auto stop didn’t work when the temperature was just 78. He said 78 could be still high temperature to your car. Until I showed him what it showed in the owner’ manual about what are problems could be when it’s showing the system still warming up or charging. He didn’t have a word to respond about it, I left my car there for a few days, they fixed the auto stop system. But still didn’t fix the CarPlay disconnection problem, now the right side of back set window started to making rattling noise. So I had to go back again, 2 weeks ago, they told me their manager wasn’t their they couldn’t make decisions( I don’t understand why did they need manager’s permission to fix a car sold by them and under warranty?), finally the manager Jason called me today, told me that they CarPlay disconnection could be my phone caused it. Because they tried their phone on my car it didn’t have problems. He might be right, because my phone was connected well on their 3 different loaners, so I asked him can I leave my car at their store so they can drive longer time or use their professional skills or technologies try to figure out the reason. He told me that they can’t take my car to there shop to fix, I have to wait for Acura representative comes to their store to diagnose the problems. When I asked him how many more days do I have to wait , he told me that he did know. All I wanted just to get the problems fixed when it’s still warranty, but now I feel like they are playing a ball game with me until they warranty expires.

Acura MDX 2005 have some manufacturing defect?

Blanca Paz | Oct 4, 2018
Robert Byars | Oct 4, 2018

When a car is 13 years old, the problems are due to age, not manufacturing. That said, most cars have some defect. What specific defect are you worried about? Sorry English keyboard.

Does the Acura MDX topically comes with out a spare tire

Oscar Ortiz | Jul 5, 2022
Acura North Scottsdale | Jul 5, 2022

Yes, the MDX FWD is equipped with a tire inflater kit, not a spare tire. The AWD will have a spare tire.

Hi, I would like to know when to expect the title for the car I purchased a few weeks ago? No one returns my phone calls. Thanks, Meg Walsh

Margaret, Your salesperson should coordinate that for you. If it helps, mine came within a few weeks but then I didn't have a lien on it. If you financed, you won't get the title until it is paid for. Hope this helps.

Can I bring my Acura MDX for the safety recall to your dealership and not the one in Peoria where I leased it?

Yes. Any authorized Acura can help.
