Nice campgrounds, clean bathrooms and showers with toilet paper. Friendly staff, but irrigation district sells all the water every year. It's not the drought

Good days, went to the Archery Range. We didn't have a chance to fish. But as we were having breakfast at camp, George spotted a rattler he was crossing the road headed towards us. George cut off his head and buried it, but when I went to check on how many rattles he had, it was still alive and started to move. I just dropped it and ran.

Camp spots are decent with some barbecue grills and picnic benches that should have been replaced 20 years ago. The restrooms are okay but definitely showing signs of wear and tear. Some mold here and there. Leaks. Not too much graffiti. The electrical room in one of the restrooms had no door on it and the dead front on the electrical panel had missing Breakers where a person could stick their finger in and touch a live bus. For those of you who don't know, that could kill you! If you dare plug in an electrical cord to the adjacent unoccupied spot for a little while, the ranger will be all up on you yet nowhere to be found when the neighbors are being loud and disruptive, cursing, blasting offensive music (kids everywhere), setting up a full-size smoker that fills up the entire campsite with dense BBQ smoke. Oh yeah and people setting up large inflatable swimming pools and filling them up with potable water. Where is it going to drain when they are finished? Well the water is going to simply flood the neighbors' campspot and turn it into mud. Right in the middle of a mega-drought! You can tell there are lots of people from the valley and Bay Area who go up there and leave their manners elsewhere. But hey I guess that's what you get for the money. I would rather pay double and not have to deal with riff raft and the common brodozer driving inconsiderate d-bags. We will definitely look elsewhere for our next glamping trip. Somewhere East, North, or perhaps along the coast.
