Nice and quiet campground. Every spot is big enough to give you privacy. Recommended to keep food and other stuff inside the bear locker. Do not leave them outside or inside your tent as it’s a common bear area.

Very pretty and quiet. Only downside is it is not adjacent to a lake or river.

Lake Alpine is 2/3 mile from the Silvertip campground. There are trails that go from the camp to the lake, but it's easy to get lost on them because the markers are old/missing. If you continue east on Highway 4 from the campground then it's less than a mile to Lake Alpine Lodge which is right on the lake shore with plenty of access points to the lake by vehicle or on foot. There are also other smaller lakes within short driving range
On silvertip campground, site 19,20 are close to the restrooms. Theres two very close to each other.
Or you can reserve a site. About half can be reserved. No gate.
