Website was nice but calling and getting a quote was a nightmare. Dave is the person I spoke with and he seemed unsure about ANYTHING I asked him, even telling me to go to the website even though the website connected me to him. I need packing assistance for my entire house and he just couldn't understand that. Overall made me uncomfortable with the company and if I can't get a proper quote I don't want to know what would happen to my house.

From start to end my experience with Zippy Shell was fantastic. I worked directly with David, the owner of the Zippy Shell Columbus, OH franchise, and that was the way to go. He dropped off my shell (1 hour West) himself with ample notice. Pickup after loading was right on time. For a long distance move (1000mi southwest) my shell arrived EARLY to the local arrival warehouse, and in perfect condition to my home. I also used the unloading support option. The team was able to correct an initially wrong drop off scheduling to an on time drop off of my shell using the 3rd party company College Hunks. Both employees from College Hunks were professional and efficient. I would use Zippy Shell again.

Prices vary throughout the year, so best to call for a current price. We monitor our competitors prices, and guarantee to always beat their prices because being locally owned and operated, we have a vested interest in supporting those close to us....you! Don't forget to ask about our winter special for long term storage! FACT: We have NEVER raised any customers price in 4-1/2 years!
We have 2 types of containers, depending on the project. Both containers hold 3-4 rooms from a typical home. BEST: Traditional Zippy Shell, steel framed mesh containers are 15x7x7 ft, typically used for climate controlled long term storage, or when moving and need shorter term storage. GOOD: Onsite containers that look like our competitors familiar containers are 16x8x8 ft, and are generally used when you need your content close by during a renovation or restoration project, and are left at your location.
We actually have two types of containers. The POD-style container (16x8x8’) that typically stays at homeowners location, generally used for home renovations. Price at present $189 plus tax. Our traditional Zippy Shell container (15x7x7’) is typically used for moving or long term storage, and comes back to our secure climate controlled facility.
