The carrier is to lazy to carry your package! Thats the truthful answer. They say they try to deliver that way you have to go pick them up. This branch is the WORST!

Id rather receive it to my door than not at all!

Dont let me begin speaking about this office. They mark items and they are not delivered, delivered in others' mailboxes, still in the usps truck ... I even went to the office when I got tge orange notice and they said they took the packages out again. The only thing I hate about moving to this side of town is having to deal with this office

I know. They still have a lot of packages in back of not letting people know that they have mail.

Have you tried calling his Supervisor?

It's being put in others boxes. I have spoken to the supervisor and others several times verbally and physically went in and nothing has changed. I often take others their mail but my husband stopped me because it's not safe knocking on these doors and no one but one neighbor had brought me my mail. So I write wrong box redeliver on it

only if they left a card saying they tried to deliver it and where unable to.... and if you have a P.O.Box then obviously that's the only place you could get your mail.

Unfortunately that is the worst station in Columbus and everyone knows it. There's nothing you can do other than contact the Postmaster General and make a complaint because if you call the station and complain they won't do a thing

Worst post office in America! They don't deliver packages and have one worker at the counter during peak hours. Have opened several complaints with the US Postmaster General and still no answers... Go elsewhere for service if you can!

Because they leave the phone off the hook and turn the phone volume down and shut the ringer off. No one there ever answers the phone. Its one of the worst post offices in the United States.

You might they delivered our mail last Sunday never had mail delivered on the lords day

Last time when i had similar issue i called the usps head office in columbus and took the managers phone number.. but most of the time he doesn't pick up the call.. try doing that.. if not the only way is to go visit that place in person. .if you're lucky enough. .you'll get your package. .that place is a total mess

I suggest you sign up for USPS Informed Delivery. It will show you expected items coming to your address. If you have Mail being returned there is likely some issue. Make sure your name is listed in your mailbox. Verify the address items are sent to. Collect mail in your mailbox frequently.

Oh wow. Well im waiting on a mailbox key, that I have to wait 3-4 wks or longer and paid $30 for it. They say they're understaff. So I go pick my mail up there til I get my key. I just hope they don't steal.

Because they're literally the worst post office, lazy, and could care less about actually doing their jobs.

Volume is up because of Christmas and the office is critically understaffed. Before you say, hire more people, they're trying but A, 70% will drop out in 30 days, B, it takes a long time to hire just one employee (tests, background checks, training), and C, more people are learning it's a bad job and not applying in the first place. If you'd like to pick up all your mail, short term, set up a hold notice online and select pick up at office. Long term, get a PO box or get a box at somewhere like the UPS Store. Hope it helped

It sounds like the package is being checked at US Customs. It could be several more days before the package is released and the site is updated. Best of luck to you.

They left my mail in the office, too. The postman responsible for the morning shift this month is horrible and too lazy to leave the packages. Write your address and zip code on a paper and go to the post office and ask if there are packages/letters for this address.

If your mail box got knock down then your mail be be on hold at the post office. When your mail box gets back up let uus know and we will let the carrier know

Did you get mail on Thursday, December 28 ? Because if you got mail on that day, you won't get mail on Friday. Your next day might be Saturday or Monday due to this snow. But this mail service is always slow. My postman told us that we might or not get mail because his personal life comes first before the customer. But it's the other way around.If you are on the clock, the customers come first ! And be careful and mind set. Because they like to open and keep the customers mail. I went to get a package and I noticed that they had peoples packages just sitting there and those same packages were there forever.

I have not done it but I've been told you can and when I have to do it again I would rather spend a couple of hours looking for that option than to go to the Post office. You should be able to yes. If there are other people living where you are moving FROM do NOT do "change of address whole family" even if it's you and your spouse or who ever. They only look at the "whole family" check box.
