Had planned to pick up a prescription today Sunday at Rite Aid in Fort Brag, CA. Checked the website and confirmed the pharmacy opened at 10:00 am.on Sundays. I called to verify and no one picked up but I got a message from the COO of Rite Aid that due to labor shortages the phone might not be answered,. I drove 35 minutes from where I live to the store to discover that the Pharmacy is now closed on the weekend. sue to "staffing shortages". I asked the only employee in site why isn't there a message stating the correct hours on their phone line---or why the website hours aren't changed. His answer" that's a corporate website" How difficult would it be for the Store Manager to request these changes or for the "Corporate IT" department to make that simple correction. I get the labor shortage issue and why it might be closed. But I don't get the cavalier attitude of not properly informing customers of the hour changes when it should be ab easy Fix. I won't be shopping at Rite Aid any more.

Helpful staff and a generally clean and organized store. I shop here all the time. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait during tourist season, but that's Fort Bragg for you. This town used to have two Rite Aids, if you can believe it. This one is definitely the best in the county. It's a bit mind-boggling the amount of things that you can get done here.

Really great ice cream. Good place to make a memory and get an ice cream! The cashiers are also friendly and belpful. It is the best pharmacy in Fort Bragg, CA.

6/4/13 NO ICE CREAM FOR ME I love love love love Thrifty's ice cream counters, located within SOME Rite-Aid stores. This store is not one of those but our cashier did mention that they have a counter inside the other Fort Bragg location. We played on the mechanical helicopter out front before going in to look for a beach shovel. The store was well-organized and we found it quickly. There was actually a huge selection of shovels, all at what we thought were relatively low-priced. We grabbed a smaller one and headed out. We did make a stop in the fishing aisle to look around. It was pretty well-stocked. Guess this is a coastal town. I wish my Rite-Aid in Concord had a fishing section this big. Then again, my Rite-Aid has an ice cream counter. For the win.
