Place had a really bad smell. Walked in and immediately walked out. Told the owner it smelled really bad and he followed me out of the store to say it doesn't smell bad to everyone and it's and old building and musty. Pretty weird of him. None of the other shops in the building smell. Someone bring this man some fabreez please. 🤣

Very strange and quirky place run by a strange and quirky guy. There was an unpleasant smell filling the whole museum. The whole time we were there, the proprietor was walking around the halls outside, seemingly for no reason. He curtly told us we could look around even though we apparently weren’t worth any more of his time. The glass displays are mildly interesting, but that’s the best I can say about this place. There are several videos running simultaneously; I found them both distracting and self-congratulatory. Also plenty of news articles and opinion pieces on display; the proprietor certainly has strong opinions and is eager to share them in print. Not worth your time. There’s much better things to do in this area.

$2 donation. Lots of artifacts from glass beach and information about sunken ships around the area.

I've seen so many complaints about Glass Beach on Facebook :( truth be told it does not look exactly like pictures I've seen posted online However ! It is still a beautiful place and a fun outing if you have the time to actually poke around. My suggestion would be, go after a storm or during low tide. I just went over my birthday weekend which was February 4th and this is what it looks like :) dress comfortably and we're a good pair of shoes that you don't mind messing up.

Its free. They do have a "suggested donation" amount if you feel so compelled
It is sort of neat. I personally didn't know that they dumped so much of their garbage in their bay up there.
Yes they answered all the questions. First look at the board they have in the museum with answers to the most common questions. All of my questions were answered by reading the informational sign
