Excellent! I had the Pumpkin Spice Pecan flower less cake and a Pumpkin Macaron. The cake was perfectly sweetened with a subtle pumpkin spice flavor. The Macaron was also perfectly sweetened and had a delightful chewiness. I also ordered the brewed coffee. The Sumatra was lighter in body and had this wonderful caramel, brown sugar finish. My only regret is that I didn't order anything with chocolate, as that would have paired perfectly with the coffee.

This place has been my favorite pastry place for at least the past 5 years up until today. I go to this place at least 4 to 5 times a month because the pastries are the best in Columbus. However, they can improve on their customer service. I was trying to place a curbside order online and one of the items got marked out of stock as I was ordering. So I called store and asked if the item is all gone, the lady explained that they have 3 pieces in stock and they marked it out of stock because it’s low in stock. I then explained to her I have my infant sleeping in the car and I can’t come in to purchase it in store. So I asked can I place the order over the phone and pick it up as a curbside order. Her response was “No, we don’t do phone orders on the weekend because we’re busy”. I obviously know they’re busy but they marked the item out of stock and they’ll be coming out to give me the curbside order ANYWAY so what difference does it make? This was a terrible customer service.

Questions & Answers

Do you bake traditional German breads in your German Village bakery?

They serve various flavors of macarons, shortbread cookies, and cakes or other desserts. It's mostly a places to go if you want something sweet or if you want a cafe style breakfast with coffee or tea. Everything I've ever tried there is delicious, but definitely not German based menu items.

I think the macarons are. You can call them directly, they do have allergen lists for their baked goods.

The short answer is no. They offer croissants, shortbread, and other patisseries that will include wheat flour. The staff can tell you if specific items contain gluten.
