Bubbles in a bag was good but had too much ice. Zucchini bread was amazing. The cinnamon roll/loaf was delicious. The burger was good. The hot brown with no bacon was super good. Nice hidden gem for a last minute brunch date.

This little hidden Gem makes my heart smile!! From the hostess at the door to the bar staff to the waitress the service is impeccable!!! I love the menu!! I love the ambiance and the music selection is nice!! It has a nice brunch selection and I have tried a couple things and they have never failed me. Stop by and try The Mockingbird you will be pleased!! Love this place ohhh and TRY THE CHURCH PUNCH and THE ZUCCHINI BREAD MY FAVS!!!

Great food, wonderful vibe. If you don't have reservations you might need to negotiate for a good table. The upstairs atrium, downstairs main dining room and outside patio are much better than the bar upstairs. We had the Hot Brown & a Mockingbird Salad w/Fried Chicken Thigh. They were both excellent!!!

Not bad. Cute vibe for brunch. The food was good and the prices were not bad. I liked the decor and design in the restaurant. It had vintage modern feel. I will say that the restaurant was a bit loud and could use some sound deadening to help with the ambiance (I couldn’t hear my partner speak from across the table). We made a reservation for brunch but I don’t think that is always going to be necessary, I’m pretty sure we could have walked in and gotten a seat no problem. Would like to try more of their menu next time! *edit: the tunes were great! It was more so the chatter coming from other tables that had our ears overwhelmed

Hiya! Yes, We have a few items on our menu that are both vegan and gluten free (brussels sprouts w blueberry gastrique, black eyes pea tatchos, grilled artichoke hearts, sauteed green beans with garlicky crunchies, kale salad w/ radish and tortilla strips, roasted portabella mushroom with ratatouille and vegan feta over cassoulet style beans, and lastly- the impossible burger served with no buns).
My family found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful relating to flexibility of the menu and dietary concerns. Of course one should probably contact directly closer to your visit if any question or lingering concern.
+ Staff screening (temperatures taken, 6 step health questionnaire). Any team members with exposure to anyone with Covid are sent home and/or if any symptoms present. + Sanitizing stations throughout restaurant + All guests masked (except for when at table) + Signage posted throughout reminding staff and guests of Covid safety practices + Social distancing enacted & limited capacity adhered to + All Davidson county restrictions fully enforced + Entire staff masked while in building
