First off, I am a TDIU designated veteran on dialysis that had an awful experience at my local BMV in Beavercreek, Ohio. I got some information from the Greene County Veterans service officer that some of the benefits that I earned was that the fees are waived for both my drivers license and plates. I tried to explain to the branch manager that my conditionis similar to a 100% rated veteran with my TDIU designation. Apparently that only applies to 100% disabled vets ONLY now, so I went on ahead and paid the fees. She said that she doesn't care that I'm paid at the 100% rating, she looks at your combined service evaluation, which is 90%. I felt embarrassed and humiliated because I thought I earned that privilege of having those fees waived. I immediately called the Greene County Veterans Service office in Xenia, Ohio and explained what happened and they told me to file a complaint with her supervisor. I tried and they told me to call the Columbus office. So in the end of it all, I end up emailing the Ohio Inspector Generals office to file a formal complaint. I'm not sure if it was just a case of ignorance or discrimination. I just want to know for all the other TDIU veterans of color out there in the state of Ohio, have anyone of you had similar issues getting your benefits from the State? Or did I get the wrong information from the veterans service officer, perhaps? What's really messed up about it all is 3 weeks after paying for my license, I got my notification from the VA that I got bumped from TDIU to 100% rating which was backdated to May 1, 2022 when I sent in the paperwork for the increase. Either way, I was wronged on so many levels by this branch!

The BMV in Beavercreek was much better a few years ago. The person at window #2 had an issue with me as soon as I asked for retired military plates and veterans benefits. All I did was ask a question to make sure I had the appropriate paperwork. Terrible customer service. The person at the check in desk did a great job!

Run by an organization that's given historically bad service, yet they never go out of business because they have a monopoly on the "service" they provide. What's that organization? Government.

Old drivers license, 2 proofs of residency for the new 2020 license. Bank statement or? Birth certificate or social card, bill in your name at address....
For vehicle titles, have to go to office at 601 Ledbetter Rd, Xenia, OH
2 weeks ago we called and have to wait 6 weeks.
Change of address first and you mine as well wait till they get ready to expire them get them for your residing county, its cheaper. If you do it now you'll pay then pay again when they expire anyways
Yes driver license, car registrations done there
No, it's just walk in.
You have to check in at online on the website for the location you are going to
Yes. They need birth certificate, social security card or W2 showing your SSN, 2 bills from your current address, and you current driver's license.
I recommend calling first to confirm, then request they put you in line before you drive there to save some time.
I have been there twice in the last month and no wait, or 2 people ahead of me just walking in. Fast, Great service, very nice employees and someone checks you in when you get there, or directs you to a window open immediately 😀!! Thank you Beavercreek BMV!!!
No, titles are in Xenia.
No
Your question has been posted for the world to see. Not the BMV. You should remove your question and call the BMV with your question.
You have to get it weight ed and take the paper to the license bureau
No, but the Huber Heights location can.
