This place is terrible. I sat waiting 90 minutes while they sorted out insurance issues that we COULD HAVE DONE OVER THE PHONE only to be told I'd have to pay $175 out of pocket. Like most OSU places, this place is a joke

This has been a terrible experience from the start, they always run behind, like an hour + even if you come first thing in the morning. The billing is always off and no one in the office can help you, they say you have to call the payments line. Okay. But, the main thing is they seem to have no idea what they are doing. In 8 months of using steroids in my eyes not a single person told me not to wear contacts because it can cause infection(my optometrist told me this the moment I changed to them being my primary care for my Uveitis and was appalled a specialist office hadn't mentioned it once to me) They watched me put in contacts in the office every 2 weeks/month for many months. On one visit they put random drops in my eyes instead of dilation drops, they still don't know what they put in my eyes. Upon one of my first visits someone put the wrong instructions on my drops, so instead of my eye getting better it developed a tolerance to the steroid drops making the process take twice as long to heal. I will avoid this place at all costs if possible. See your local Optometrist first before ever coming here. You're just a bill here.

Dr Ford is the absolute best ophthalmologist. She’s kind, compassionate, personable and did everything she could to help with my issue. When it was discovered that I had a problem a little out of her expertise, she referred me to another specialist and made sure I got an appointment ASAP. I will continue to see her for follow-up care. I’ve seen a few ophthalmologists before. Dr Ford’s approach to personable patient care won me over. Her assistant, Amber, as well as the other medical and ophthalmology technicians are very sweet and caring!

Yes, a small bistro with sandwiches, snacks, pop, and coffee. It is open from 7-3pm. There are also food trucks outside from 11-2, but not everyday.
Please consult the physician that helped you with your diagnosis. Hope this helps you 🥰
