Gorgeous and peaceful. Lake is crystal clear. Good fishing too. Had an awesome week. Staff is the best!

Haven't been here since I was a kid. Brought my son on Sunday. The place was full but everyone was spread out. The water was clean an inviting. It was a perfect way to start out our first swim if the summer!

Clean bathrooms, but be careful with the showers because they can randomly get pretty hot. Still, 5 stars from me, great place, great people, great beach! Camping spots aren’t so private, but there is still plenty of space.

The state park in Liberty, Maine is on the shores of Lake St. George. The park also has lots of campsite( tent and campers). They also offer day passes to the park to enjoy swimming and playgrounds. There are charcoal BBQ grills so don't forget your briquettes. The price of day pass is 5 dollars per person. You can also fish here with appropriate licenses. There are a variety of fish from trout to bass. GREAT spot for family gatherings.

No you can swim anywhere
I think it is.
They are all pretty level. Some of them are out in the open so you don't have any shade. Me, the husband and the kids went at the beginning of this month and were lucky to have picked on in the middle of trees but you have to worry about brown tailed moths. My son got a bad rash and my husband got poison ivy. So just keep your eyes out. My son didn't touch the moth but the little hairs touched him. I used a benadryl cream and within 4 days it was gone.
Both unless you are or where military. If you are a 100% diabled bet both are free.
Maine resident $5, non resident $7, and senior $3...I am pretty sure that is per person as well. Children under 12 are free.
Yes to credit cards and you can call to reserve a picnic area
No hookups, but they do have faucets to fill your water tank. They also have a very modern bathhouse with free showers and a dump station for when you leave.
I believe you can make a group reservation at the state if Maine parks site. If you don't deserve, it's hit or miss. Was $50 last I checked.
