They dont call you back like they say they do so you have to sit on hold ALL day to speak to someone. Also, I put in an application 2 months ago (pregnant and due in 2 and a half months) and never heard anything about my status besides checking online and everytime it still said "inactive." Mind you I have called them MULTIPLE times and never got through to anyone!

Absolutely terrible service! No one here is even working or doing what they’re required to do.Ive called 30 times and each time I’ve called I’ve been on a hold for 15-20 minutes where no one answers.. I delivered my baby in October and I need to renew my coverage ASAP because I’ve been bleeding and very sick and these representatives can’t even answer their phones.I see why people get law suits involved. Also truly embarrassed for these people.I just noticed they must be deleting all the bad reviews they’re getting Lol

The best way would be to call 1-888-342-6207 and speak to an analyst. There is an online portal you can get through the LDH website too.
That would be a question that you need to ask the Medicaid Office itself. You can try calling them or going in the office. You asked on Google questions, which are answered by anyone with a google account, not the people at the Medicaid office.
How can I apply on line? Where do I go?
The address for the Hammond, LA Office is: 121 Robin Hood Dr, Hammond, LA 70403
Yes got online
Check the Marketplace website to see if they can tell you. If no luck there, then you can ask/phone the Medicaid office & they can tell you. However, Medicaid is completely free, whereas the marketplace will require a monthly bill for insurance (although it it prorated based upon your income). And there will be doctors & medication copays as well. For Medicaid, ALL of that is free.
Pain management is not a covered benefit of Louisiana Medicaid, therefore you will not find a doctor willing to accept the insurance. Your best bet is cash pay, but they are quite expensive, and if you are on Medicaid, you probably don't have the excess funds that will be required to pay for the visits.
If he have insurance with a parent through their job then Medicaid would consider that insurance as primary and medicaid would be secondary meaning Medicaid only cover what the insurance company don't
Medicaid usually mail it out to you stating the reason why you were denied
