We had my mom's 80th Surprise Birthday here. Food was amazing, service was ridiculously awesome! The waiter we had was truly amazing. Worked really hard to make sure everyone was happy. I highly recommend La Famiglia.

I dined here Sunday night with family. The table decided on the family style option and I had let the waiter know that I have a severe gluten allergy (I have celiac) and that I would like to order a salad separate to the family style option to ensure I don’t have an allergic reaction. The waiter mentioned that he could make majority of the dishes gluten free on the family style option and that he would make sure the gluten free dishes were made known to me once everything hit the table, so I trusted what I was told and went with that option. I ate what I was told was absolutely gluten free but clearly that was not the case because hours after dinner I began to have an allergic reaction and am still reacting days later, throwing up profusely. I’m unsure if the staff was uneducated as to what “gluten free” means or if the cooks made the food wrong but it’s extremely upsetting for me that I have been severely sick for days and had to even miss work today. The food tasted good but I won’t be returning because I can’t trust that I won’t get sick again.
