This is the worst experience I have ever had with an insurance company dealing with Peoples Health. The long term facility where my father is living now does not accept Peoples Health and I needed to disenroll him in order to get the traditional Medicare so he could receive the medical treatment he needed. I have been given the hardest time by this agency with little or no cooperation. It’s clear to me that Peoples Health doesn’t care about the standard of care a patient receive. My father can not receive any medical attention needed because of this. No one should be given such a hard time when they are trying to do what’s best for their love one. The process should not be this difficult. Everything that was required was submitted and when I called to get the status I was told it wasn’t anything she could tell me. Your representative Maria T is horrible and have poor customer service skills. I wouldn’t recommend Peoples Health to anyone. Your first objective should be what’s best for the patient and not your pockets.

Today I visited the recommended eye care company’s to replace my glasses. 2 years ago I purchased glasses from Gentilly Eye Care. I hated the discounted glasses chosen by Proples Heath they were awful but because I needed discounted glasses I picked a pair I did not like and made me look older. This year my glasses were broken so again I went to Gentilly Eye Care thinking once again I would hate the glasses but because I am on a fixed income I had no choice. To my surprise the selection of glasses were fabulous. Thanks Peoples Health for the new selection funny how small things came make you feel better about yourself.

So I recently needed to have a biopsy on kidney. Every dr listed u have to go to shrevepoort. One agent was so rude to me. Don't they know who pays their salary? Then decided go get eye ex with glasses. U can get exam but no glSses...so I changing ins.

I haven't gotten that from them. I suppose they would approve that if your primary care physician ordered that packaging for your medical! That would be the doctors choice to dispense the meds that way and your pharmacy to have that kind of packaging.

Your meals will be sent to you in a single delivery. They will arrive frozen, to give you flexibility on how soon you use them and to keep them fresh. PeoplesHealth pays whomever and however the claims are filed. So, if you have an outpatient procedure done at a specialty facility, some places bill one flat fee for the use of the facility, the specialist performing the procedure, any supplies used, and the assistance of any ancillary support staff. Other facilities will bill separately for each of those charges. PeoplesHealth pays all valid allowed charges as appropriate, regardless of whether the charges are billed as a bundle or separately. The important thing to remember is to ensure your physician has obtained any necessary Pre-Authorizations, and that the diagnosis they use on your claim is one that supports the necessity of the procedure, staff, testing, and supplies. A general diagnosis of "back pain" will likely not be sufficient to support extensive testing, interventional radiologists, anesthesiologists, and multi-level back injections. There has to be substantiation for all of those things being required.

You can purchase a glucometer and strips to test ever how often you want. But Medicare will only pay for it if you are a diabetic
