1st Lake Properties are scammers!! Don’t rent with them. Please believe the bad reviews. Make sure upon vacating your apartment you do a walk through with a manager and take lots of photos and videos. They will lie and make up something so they can keep yr security deposit and make you pay out of pocket for something that is no issue in the apartment. I know because they did that to me. If I could put no stars trust me I would. Upon research they have been doing this to a lot of people. PLEASE BEWARE! I would NEVER refer anyone to them ever again!

I always take the opportunity to point out that this company costs you $100 to move in, and 5 Grand to move out. They use outgoing residents to refurbish their properties. Either run like he'll, or take pics and MAKE MANAGEMENT SIGN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE PICS. SERIOUSLY PEOPLE. 1ST SCAM PROPERTIES. This isn't slander because I can bring you a minimum of 10 people I know personally who had to go to court with these people (unless management has changed drastically since '07).
Who cares. Stay away from this place at all costs. Because it will cost. "Move in special $100", right? Guess what, move out special: they WILL charge you to update anything that was already old and damaged when you moved in. I know A LOT of people that moved into this company's place, including myself, and when you move out you WILL recieve a bill of 2 grand or more. Period. The entire company is a scam. Buyer beware. Check out their BBB rating...

Try going to Walmart and go to the hardware department. There you will find a tool called a PLUNGER!!! Go home and put that in your toilet and use the suction cup and push up and down a few times with the cup over the HOLE, Freaking MIRACLE, NO MORE STOPPED UP TOILET!!! #Justbecauseyourentdoesntmeaneverythingfallsonyourlandlord
