I came home in December. I was so stressed I had to go to the shelter, and was begging for my PO to get me into the Bissonnett house. 3 days later I did and for the first month it was okay. They did a great job on the holiday's. I even played Santa for their Xmas party. By the end of January it got worse and worse and I am out of there now. The transactional coordinator had me sleeping on the floor my last week and a half there. I was caught smoking and manned up to my fault and sure enough another person got caught and I was the only one to be removed from my one-bedroom. I was there for the entire three and a half months with no issue other than this alone. The transitional coordinator put me on the floor, set me for a residence and basically forced me to move there with no other option, I ended up going there and the guy was a drug addict. She knew him because he came to the house to drink our coffee, bum cigarettes from us residents and that's it. So what made her think to put one of her residence in a place with a man like this.... The other staff members are amazing people .Daryll, Lanette, Mark, Aneesha, Jermain, Court, and even Frank made it a amazing place to be, that's it. At this point and time I would say that I would recommend this place to people, but make sure you stay on top of everything on your own because you don't know when you'll be thrown out or gunned for.

Whatever you do try not to parole there. The lady who runs the house is a snake. She will not help you in anyway they just want there money. And she will go out of her way to get you violated. And they preach they don't allow sex offenders there but yet she kept it hidden from the other residents. And allowed a sex offender to stay there. And only reason everyone found out was when he was arrested for no registering. Plus staff don't like her either but they play both sides since they work for her. So there is a lot of drama. She doesn't care about your freedom. She looks down at us and trys to get you locked up any chance she can. Luckily parole is well aware of her and how she is so her word really means nothing but it's a headache you don't need. So avoid her at all cost cause she is a snake. She is not mentally fit herself. I don't know anyone who has anything good to say about her. Coming home is hard enough and you have so many things you have to do. So when your doing good and putting your life back together it really sucks to have some one like her trying to bring you down. I was out of that house for 3 weeks and she was still calling my Po because of this review. But like my Po said I didn't make no threats and everything I stated here is true. So even though everyone is aware of her and her mental state. So if you do stay there and not if but when she calls parole on you do not let it stress you out. They don't really pay no mind to her. So just keep doing what you have to do to get out of there asap. Start right away on getting a place because she will not assist you in anyway.
