Great camp area with large, very easy boat launch. Well taken care of grass sites even though we never saw an attendant. The area gets crazy windy, so we had our tent staked and tied down as tightly as possible.

Our winter has lasted longer than usual. I got itchy for short hike. So I used the 3.1 mile trail that connects the three parking areas for the Priest Rapids Recreation Area. The main park is right off Desert Air where there is a lot of parking space, a boat launch, picnic area, and such. To my surprise, the paved section had been plowed of snow. The desert scenery along the Columbia is striking here, any time of year.

The bathrooms at Desert Aire Park have showers.
Technically the 14 camp sites (I think 2 are tent only) are considered dry camping. Their website has details on RV sizes and that sort of thing but it does say no water/sewer/electric. That being said, the spots at the ends are next to the potable water and I did see people hookup to them when I was there. Whether or not that's allowed, I'm not sure, so it might be worth calling. I don't know if the price varies depending on the time of year but I was there last week and it was $13/night plus tax. I did 3 nights and the total was $45.
