I thought I needed new brakes, and being new to this area, I wasnt sure where to go. I did visit Sunrise Tire and Auto to fix a flat I had, they seemed nice so I took my car there for brakes. After an hour, I received a call from Ray that shocked me. He told me I did NOT need brakes and he did not want to " take my money" for something I didnt need. The honesty and integrity they displayed is something you dont see very often anymore. I am now a customer for life and will only bring my cars here because I know they are a business I can trust. Thank you again for your honesty.

Before coming to “Sunrise Tire & Auto” I had visited a “Sunoco Gas” station location 8550 Sunrise Highway Massapequa Park, NY 11762 approximately, a block before “Sunrise Tire” to have my Tesla Model Y 2021 first annual vehicle inspection. I was informed by the owner (an over weight gentleman) that I would have to make an appointment and leave the vehicle and the cost for the inspection will be $37.00….. I departed from this crook location and stopped at Sunrise Tire who took the car and completed his vehicle safety check: tires, lights, brakes, etc in no time and charged me $10.00 for the inspection by law. What a pleasure it was dealing with a reputable business that’s not after your first born to have your car repaired or inspected. Kudos

It could be a few different problems. Please call the shop to discuss the different symptoms 516-785-6015
In most cases a shake or shimmy in the steering wheel at high speed means, either something could be wrong with the front end or most often a tire is just out of balance. Stop by for a free front end check and let our trained experts tell you the simple fix.
The check engine light or malfunction indicator light comes on when the on board diagnostic system (OBD2) sees a trouble code in the engine control module. Its best to have it checked ASAP, sometimes its a simple fix.
Sometimes brakes get a heat spot on the pad which makes noise or some cars have brake warning sensors built onto the brake pad which can squeal. Squealing definitely could be a problem, It's best to go to reputable repair shop to have it checked out. We offer a free brake inspection
This might sound like a wiseazz answer but it's the most truthful and safe advice this Honest Man can give... You should change your tires...When Joe or any of the Men at Sunrise Tire say that it would be in your best interest. Money keeps the lights on and employees paid..
