This is a place where you're lucky to go there without a very long line out the door. Thankfully that was my experience! The food is always excellent (the fatty brisket was a big highlight!) and there is a good amount of seating across two separate rooms. Secure your table, grab your drinks, and then wait on the line and choose your items from the big menu on the wall. Definitely worth it for some great BBQ near the waterfront.

Food is heavy and rich. Make sure you go early so you have a good option of food. We got there at 3 and they only had a few items left.

Returned to Hometown today after a disappointing visit last time, and I have to unfortunately say that I was once again disappointed. This place used to be the bomb and it has declined significantly. Smoked Turkey was tender but tasteless. No taste of turkey nor hint of smoke in the taste. Smoked Brisket was tender but chewy and also lacked taste. The bark was tasteless. Baby Back Ribs were overdone, and also lacked taste. Extremely disappointing.

Coroni, it's well worth the trip to Red Hook. And pop on over to Steve's keylime pies & Valentino pier afterwards for an awesome view of the city!

Tables outside are well distanced but no heat o wind protection so come bundled up, but come! The food is great and the staff super friendly, you won't regret it!

They have contactless payment, you can order online from their website then pick it up. Not sure when dining in well happen. At least a couple weeks before NYC hits phase 2

I am not aware of a vegetarian option. BBQ place is really not the best place for a vegetarian. My condolences.
