We have our own kayaks and were looking for help shuttling ourselves from take out where we dropped the car back to the put in where we had left the kayaks. I called Sugar River Outfitters to see if they did that sort of thing. Kelly was incredibly helpful, upbeat, and enthusiastic about kayaking the Sugar. We wanted to kayak for two days, and he suggested another part of the Sugar to complement the Verona to Paoli trip. We had a blast! Both trips were great, even with the low water level. He made the two days we spent on the Sugar River one of the best trips we have ever taken. We will certainly be back!

Wonderful trip down the Sugar River. Our driver is a great tour guide. Gave us an overview of the area and surrounding restaurants. The pick up and drop off were so easy. So peaceful on the river. Great experience. Highly recommend Sugar River Outfitters and their staff.

My husband and I just moved here and we were looking for something fun to do over the weekend. We found Sugar River Outfitters LLC and we were so excited! We made a mistake and did not register in advance.. oops! LOL They were so understanding when we broke the news to them and they told us to just hang out just in case something opened up. We decided to eat some yummy tacos at the taqueria at the pickup spot. They went out of their way to come and find us when they found out that someone had cancelled and some kayaks opened up for us. This meant the absolute world to us and we got to have such a fun day! I highly recommend this place! Just remember to reserve your kayaks or canoes in advance! LOL

Kelly and his staff were wonderful to work with. Answered all my questions when I called to inquire and ultimately book. Their website is very user friendly and was easy to navigate and book our canoe rental. Our canoe was in great condition with a wide bottom which made having our dog with us totally fun. The river was absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we were looking for. I went with my husband and puppy and they both loved every second. The river has some aras that are shallow with a rock bottom so it was perfect to get out and swim to cool off. There were many twists and turns and obstacles to navigate through which made it that much more fun. 10/10 would recommend Sugar River Outfitters! Extremely happy with our canoe trip!
