Post office lost my license renewal called and we took care of it via email . I am a life member of the ARRL and have been since ‘06 . Lisa R in member services was awesome .

I dont know you can take tests at arrl hq. I would look for a local ham club. To take tests. But you could always call and ask. Theycare very friendly.

Are foreign countries transmitting on shortwave frequicies anymore? I just bought a nine band short wavew radio. The only signalas I get, are am and fm.

Yes but we are in a period of low solar activity so long distance reception is difficult.
