Horrible. Inn had roaches. Was transferred to the Key West Inn (same owners) and had roaches over there, too. Do Not Recommend.

This is my 2nd time staying here. The staff and location are great and they are DOG FRIENDLY, a huge plus! Last time I stayed (Memorial Day weekend 2021) I was in room 133, (if i remember correctly) (king room) and it was very clean, comfortable and quiet. This time (Memorial Day weekend 2022) I stayed on the other side of the hotel, room 132. The beds were very comfortable and over all, a nice quiet room. The AC will freeze you out of the room if it's turned all the way up, the mini fridge was clean and worked well, same with the microwave, the flat-screen tv showed well but, they need to include a channel guide. The water pressure in the shower is awesome and the drains all drain in lightening speed. House keeping works very hard to keep the rooms tidy and comfortable, Kudos to these very sweet ladies. The lighting in the room needs much improvement and it would have been nice to have a table to eat at. I was told Days Inn is getting ready to renovate the rooms and do some much needed updating, including making them carpet free, perfect for people with allergies or traveling with their dog(s). Overall, I highly recommend Days Inn Sylacauga/Childersburg and will be returning in the fall. This is my "go to" hotel when I am in the area. Thank you Ms. Barbara and Ms. Rita for all the kind hospitality and our chats. I look forward to seeing you again this fall.

You can get a 1 or a 2 bed room with a free side of cockroaches. Woke up to them in our things in the sink area before the bathroom and in the bathroom. When asked, oh we don't know anything about cockroaches. Bug lovers paradise!

The woman at the front desk was so sweet and accommodating. We came to stay with my mother-in-law who is older and on oxygen and the lady at the front desk called another guest who is supposed to be checking in to see if they would swap rooms so that we could have a first floor room. She went above and beyond to help us and was so kind! The rooms themselves are not anything to write home about, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed, which was a good nights sleep and a hot shower. The hotel is pretty old and the carpet definitely needs replacing, but we would stay here again.
