Uhaul lists specific locations here on Google with the implication that you are calling that specific location. But what they fail to make clear on the call is if that location doesn’t pick up the phone , the call is transferred to their national call line. I even received the confirmation text message for my reservation saying the truck was at the same Coram location . I was late for a job I was hired for because I showed up to find the employee saying there were no pickup trucks left to rent at that location. So I showed him the texts reservation claiming Coram location. On his computer , he came up with Centereach having available trucks . That location was another 10 m+ min west, away from my home where I needed to start from. Coram was already 15 min west to begin with. More gas and time wasted. Deceptive advertising because of the call center transfer without notifying customer clearly and offering us to opt out then and there.
