Google has corrected the label: from Windign Stair Gap to Winding Stair Gap. This is a great spot to hop on the A.T. A benefit of starting here is that it is more than 50 mi to GSMNP (nobo), which means you can claim thru-hiker status while in GSMNP (assuming you are hiking 50+ mi more once you exit GSMNP).
