Organized and fast check in checkout.

Helpful staff, terrible Nantucket Terminal. The terminal bathrooms were just awful, and on a weekday morning in the Fall! Terminal dirty and trashy. Bad impression for visitors. Fast ferry staff and check-in in Hyannis, along with parking shuttles, we're very helpful.

The weather channel app....then enter any area code or location you want ...scroll down for 5 day forecast...I always use this when I travel to avoid surprises...even when I don't travel and I just want to see what the week is going to be like
You have to speak whith the logistic
You can buy while the ferries are running, but best to have advanced tickets in peak season.
Not yet wind is too strong possibly the slow boat is still running...
On Nantucket, the ferry is on Steamboat Wharf which is the bottom of Broad Street. In Hyannis, the ferry is at 69 South Street.
No there's not but if you go to the Washington street bus stop you can get really anywhere on the island from there it's about a 5-10 minute walk but there's biking and taxis around the island
They went to a preloaded card system. Not sure you can share
Just money ($130 each way). Make sure to get there at least 30 min before the ferry is scheduled to leave.
Pay at the end
It states on their site that it should be, but I always recommend calling the port location you will be traveling from just in case. Weather and the holidays can effect their schedules.

Steamship highspeed tickets are valid for one year. So whatever day you want to return just go into the office and swap it out
I agree to talk with the Steamship directly but 18 wheelers are taken across daily. There is an additional charge for height and for trailers.
