To start off this review, I will discuss the seating. The waitress sat us by the window, where, right outside, a mound of dirt was raised to be eye level, I think the staff throw seeds there to attract birds, which is a mighty fine idea if I do say so myself. It's very lovely drinking some coffee and looking at the local little feather buddy's foraging for food. Next, the coffee. I had my coffee black and it tasted like the best cup of coffee I've ever had the pleasure of drinking, Special Agent Dale Cooper would be proud. Moving on to the pie, I had a raspberry pie and my cousin had a banana pie with ice cream on the side, which they refer to here as (a la mode) those pies were delicious. On another note, the manager was in a haste but was very kind and brightened the overall mood of this particular diner. The decor was quaint, the place sported dim lights, and earth tones made up the color scheme of this fine establishment, It would make a nice spot to regularly enjoy a cup of joe. The only gripe I had was that there is a sign that suggests you may get a free slice of pie if you sign up on their website, but upon going through all the hurdles of signing up (which included my phone not connecting to the internet, and I know it wasn't Shari's fault but man was that pie really feeling unattainable at that moment, it's like Shari's had its best hackers in the broom closet preventing me from having that sweet taste of pie in my stomach...because, of course, everything tastes better when it's free...anyways) I was met with a nice little fine print that said I must order an entree to redeem it. Well I'll be damned if Shari's knows how to lead you on, just to let you down, I could really go for a cigarette right about then and there, but that is to be expected, I suppose life really is like a box of chocolates (you never know what you are going to get). Overall, I had a nice time here, I will definitely be returning. This is where I conclude my long winded and unnecessary review. With love and light (and a little too much free time on my hands) - Sunshine Thanks for reading.

Had a great lunch. They had just opened because the power had been out, you could see they were scrambling but each person we dealt with was very nice. Because of power out they didn't have what I actually wanted, but what I did get was good. Fresh and flavorful. Of course it is our go to place for yummy pie!

I'm giving the restaurant two stars because our waitress was very sweet with my girls. Other then that, the food was pretty bland. We ordered the sampler appetizer that included chips, quesadillas and chicken strips. The chips were super soft. You could literally tear them apart and it wouldn't break. Unfortunately they were very undercooked. The quesadillas and chicken strips were both mediocre and just tasted like they were previously frozen. Our drinks were never refilled and we had to ask. The milkshake was good but just not the best in town. My daughter also wasn't happy about the bits of cold sprinkled cheese on top of her macaroni. We'll probably find somewhere else for lunch next time!

Ordered the classic Benedict and got a child serving of hash brown.as well as the sauce was such a small amount I had to ask for another side of holiday sauce. Other than that the service was excellent and host was awesome. The cook needs to not be stingy.
