This is a great organization that provides housing needs for our veterans. The people that run it are dedicated to provide their services to the fine men and women that serve our great country through the armed forces. Are there any of these homes being built in the New York area, because I'm trying to re-locate to affordable housing, because my rent keeps going up; every year! I'm now paying $1541 per month; I'm a disabled, married Veteran w/ 2 PURPLE HEARTS,!

Thank you for your question! While we are not currently building any homes in New York, our Veteran Home Opportunity Program may be an option. This program has both rental homes and homes for purchase in various areas throughout the country. You can apply for this program on our website or you can call for more information about our VHOP program.

They help veterans but do they have to have a purple heart to get the help or will they help in they served in the Army

No we are nationwide. We have chapters in several states.

Will they help a veteran with a home that needs to have a new roof and remodel a bathroom where the ceiling is collapsing and the floor is sinking and the walls are crumbling
