Questions & Answers

My wife and I have 2 outdoor swings which are supported by 3 6"x6" treated posts with a 16' 6"x6" treated post on the top side. I would like to add a roof on the top side which would measure 8' front to rear and 16' left to right. PERMIT?

In North Carolina any structure that is 12' or greater in any dimension requires a permit but this seems like an odd one. Let me check with some staff and I will get back with you.
