This was my 1st time stay at the campground. It was clean and quite. The staff was great. The sites could accommodate campers or tents. All but about 3 sites have power and water which was great. All the sites have a picnic table, fire ring and some type of grill. The bathhouse my family used was always clean and stocked. They keep the showers and toilets very clean. Also it's just a little walk to a lake and the park. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Plenty to do for the whole family. Paddle boats, playgrounds, petting zoo,and a real zoo. Train ride and a lake for fishing

This was our first trip out in our RV, Oct. 2021. The campground is flat and nicely wooded. Our site (46) was reasonably private. The campground is part of a county park, which includes a small lake, and a recreation area with shelters, a small animal enclosure, a carousel and kiddy train. The campsite was nice and level, picnic table, firepit. The bath house was good. Overall very enjoyable spot.

There is a splash pad but no swimming at the park. High rock lake nearby is the closest place to swim.
No. It's more of a large pond than a lake. They offer paddle boats. You can't put your own boat/canoe into the water.
Campers arriving after the gates close can call to obtain a code.
Absolutely. Especially on Fridays dated the 13th.
