Born in California this restaurant was only a neighborhood alternative for authentic mexican cuisine. When your food is just an "local alternative" let your customer service be spectacular. Honestly ..the passion of Latino culture isn't here! In today's economy going out to eat is really a luxury! Today's America price are going up and quality is going down. Restaurant owners should protect customers care and service no less than 5 star. I would still support the cause. Even if the food is just average. Restaurant employees need to understand what a tip means.Its earned not to be expected. A consumers choose to dine at your place of work.. Great food with great service is why we would even return. Customers should never hear "we are to busy" to provide you a great experience. When all I'm asking is can you bring cold Ice tea.. vs hot with few cubes in it... if that's too much? This is just another bean rice and meat with chips joint! oh, and here is your bill sir.

The food is ALWAYS fantastic, and the staff is always pleasant/tentative. My ONLY issue is how hot it is in there as of late. I took a group of 9 there yesterday to show off the flavors of my favorite dinner spot. I was embarrassed the whole time because my group was a sweaty mess before the drinks even hit the table. TURN THE AC DOWN PLEASE!

I must confess I been coming to this Mexican Restaurant for 8yrs ,did not want to review simply because I was selfish, it's a gem close to my house and consistently delicious, we had the Best hands down $5 happy hour Margaritas on the rocks , THE BEST in town. Today we ordered carnitas and Carne asada c3 tacos WOW ,come out with pico de Gallo, Green salsa and the best pinto refried beans house made DAILY even the chips and salsa complimentary are delicious ,don't believe there is a better NOn chain family owned Mexican restaurant for miles maybe all the way to Mexico..now there the Secret is out ....
