Wonderful experience for my family. Our children has the best time and all of the trainers were top notch. The horses had great personalities as well! Highly Recommend.

My 10 yr old granddaughter attended horse camp in June. Best week of camp ever. At days end, I could not pry her away. The relationship that developed between my Grandaughter, the counselors and the horses was inspiring. I even learned the names of the horses she rode each day. My Granddaughters experience was so positive, that when a spot opened up for the July camp, we took it.

If you’re in the Lake Norman/Mooreville area and want to go horseback riding, make sure you go to Painted Sky Ranch. The scenery on the trail ride is beautiful, including a creek, some open spaces, and small hills. The horses are well cared for and well-behaved, and Debra’s experience with and knowledge about horses shines through. In addition, I’m the author of “Finding Her Spirit,” a horse novel, and she was supportive of my book. Recommend when you’re in the area!

My wife loves horses so I decided to give her horse riding lessons for her birthday. This is the best place to learn. The horses are very friendly. The staff are very knowledgeable about horses and how to ride them. She got to brush, clean their shoes and place saddles in them The owner Debra is so AWESOME. She is the best. We love the place and horses. A must if you want to learn how to ride horses or just to ne around them.

Hi Debra: For Ins reasons we only offer guided trail rides. It would be irresponsible to let someone we don't know ride unsupervised on horses they don't really know on land their not sure of. Having said that our trail rides offer fun challenges from hills to crossing creeks, navigating thru the forests and open fields for some cantering. Trail rides are a hour and are a memorable ride that are about as good as it gets. We match riders to skill level and make sure your ride is an adventure that is fun and safe.
Unfortuantely or I guess fortunately we already have a bunch of help with our current students
We have lesson horses - to be honest though we are a small barn and horses can only be ridden twice in a day so the slots fill up fast - text Deb to see when next available might be, her number 704-458-6994
