Rhododendrons not blooming now, but the walk through the forest is unique and pretty. A few stairs, but you can see much of it without going down steps. Expect to spend about 30-60 minutes walking the paths depending on your speed

The rhododendron gardens are a great place to visit. They are in full bloom on the third week of June. Still a great place to visit anytime and the walk to the gardens is easy and accessible for anyone.

The trail to Roan Knob Lookout starts out smooth and paved but quickly turns to gravel. You have to climb over some good sized rocks, but the view is worth the climb! It took us around 25 minutes

The staff were friendly enough, but you could tell they were not really interested in interacting with visitors. We still missed the blooming season again.
