I had to go with classic dog with Kraut! It didn't disappoint! Char was perfect, taste was on point and liked the cheese fries! Old classic done right! Loved it!!

I have been going to Max's in Long Branch for many years and they never disappoint. Max's Hot Dogs are the best in NJ hands down. The Barney is my favorite. Service is always excellent and they have a really nice bar. I always look forward to my next visit to Max's !

It’s no longer a hot dog place. Under renovation and will reopen as Max’s Bar and Grill. Just painted exterior 7/17/18. All new inside and out.

Because if they are busy it takes them awhile for them to answer the phone

Drove by Max's today doesn't look any where near ready to open. Looks like it's closed permanently. Sorry to see it go. It was an institution.
