There is a primitive campground beside the main north parking lot. If you walk to the left of the bathroom, you can see it but it just looks like a grassy area and it is not marked
If you go to @FATSUpdate on Twitter, you can get live updates on weather conditions. It is currently saying that the trails are too wet to ride right now from all the rain

There are quite a few Hotels in Martinez. I recomend the Redroof inn. Its abot 15 miles to the trail.
There are no waterfalls that I know of.
You can camp but must get a permit from the ranger station, their number is on the website
