This place was awesome! A great alternative to the “mega dock”. They were doing some work on the docks during our stay but it didn’t take away from how great of marina this is. The staff (especially Austin), was so nice, helpful, and full of knowledge. The bathrooms are straight up luxurious. They have a courtesy car and are very dog friendly with bit of a dog park on site. Looking forward to our next stay.

No, there is no boat ramp at St. John's Yacht Harbor. When I dock at St. John's, I put in at Limehouse which is a couple of miles down River Road.
Yes, it's a friendly community but not to the extent that there are docktails every night. There appears to be a captains lounge but I didn't see extesive use and access is somewhat restricted.
Buzzards Roost was its last monacher.
They do have a crew car you can borrow for up to 2 hours if you just want to do things like grocery runs.
