A really great place. All 5 kids loved it. Ages 2,3,4,5 & 11. Some really unique swings, rides etc. Very clean we will be back.

We had a really nice family day on this park. You can bring your dogs. It has a clean playground for kids.

Yes, there are grills which you can use throughout the park. I haven’t used them, but I constantly see families using them.
It varies based on where you can actually find a spot, however it’s normally not that long of a walk in order to launch.
Not at Palmetto Island County Park
Yes, separate areas for large and small dogs 25 lbs or less.
I don’t believe so, I would think this would be a safety issue for bike riders and walkers. The dirt trails aren’t wide anyway.
To get into the park and if you go to the water park itself.
I’ve personally seen a family use a small charcoal grill. Now whether that was allowed, I can’t say - but nobody mentioned anything to them and they had a grand time. (At least while I was there)
General admission is $21.95 and different prices for kids, toddlers and seniors. To get a complete price guide with operating hours please visit their website and select water parks. https://ccprc.com/69/Palmetto-Islands-County-Park
Charleston county parks have first come first serve tables. The shelters can be used without reservation but you may have to leave with no notice if someone reserved it.
Still 2 bucks a head, unless you have the pass
There is water available at the dog park and on the first level of the Park Center.
Electric vehicles are restricted to the roadways, which are not paved. Electric scooters, golf carts, electric skateboards are not permitted on the paved or unpaved trails.
There is a dock where you can fish. Unaware of any regulations that say you cannot crab there as well.
Entrance is $2 a person.
There is a 2 dollar fee to park... but everything else like the trails and playground are free. Unless you go to Splash Island then it's about 6 dollars for adults ? And then after 3 its 3 or 4 bucks. Children under 2 are free.
