If you are into music and specifically blue grass you would be interested. Otherwise, it's a good place for a break. Free admission and run by the NPS.

Fancy Gap Cabins and Campground is less than 15 minutes away. The Fancy Gap KOA would also be fairly close.
They have restarted the porch music Thursday though Sunday. The museum is still closed, restrooms and gift shop are open.
Music every Saturday until end of season. Tickets sell out alot so it's best to have tickets before you head out. We have season pass, can't go wrong

There is limited amphitheater seating. I suggest bringing folding chair or blanket. Also, I have seen some patrons bring picnic baskets. Enjoy!
It is a small event in a breeze way...beautiful music...no problem with coolers but not necessary
