I would guess that the reason they are not open for lunch in the summers is because the beach traffic is so bad on Folly Rd that no one would attempt to eat at Bowens Island for lunch unless they could ride a bike or walk there.

They don't have blue claw crabs. Bowens don't have oyster or claims raw.
