Worst Emergency room visit ever. Before you read any further, note… the nurses and triage staff were phenomenal. After arriving at this ER from a silent stroke, I waited over 4.5 hours to get into a room. Then after my vitals were checked, they forgot about me. Then I waited another 2.5+ to get into an actual room where my husband was able to accompany me. Only to get blood and X-ray results. Then to be left again for another hour or so. Absolute waste of my time.

I was somewhat skeptical about having a major procedure at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. Due to the urgency, I decided to allow the Cape Fear Heart & Vascular Center team to take care of me. I was amazed by the technical expertise of the doctors and nursing staff. I was never treated just like “another patient”. They went over and beyond to ensure that I was successful through the procedure and the recovery process. Their kindness not only extended to me but included my wife. I am 100% comfortable in recommending such an outstanding hospital. Thanks to the entire Cape Fear Heart & Vascular Center.
