Holiday Inn, Santee SC. Thank you! Location was absolutely perfect. Exit 98 going north on I-95, easy on easy off. Close to food (Cracker Barrel) and gas station. Kenya checked me in and answered all my questions. They have a restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Indoor pool and a workout room. The housekeeping staff was obliging and professional. The room was really nice, clean and we love the bed. Pillows are marked firm or soft. Who does that? We loved it ❤️ . Price was expected. I just drove up with no reservation. It is a pet friendly hotel. We had no pets. So they gave us a room on The 3rd floor which is a no pet floor. Ingenious. Good job 👏 Holiday Inn.

The room was clean and the hotel typical of a Holiday Inn. The front desk clerk was pleasant. The on-site restaurant was much appreciated after a long day on the road. The quality of the food was really good (thank you kitchen staff). Mike the bartender was friendly and entertaining and we really enjoyed chatting with him.. Again, all very much appreciated after a long day of driving. The only ding on the rating was the fact that this Holiday Inn charged more than similar properties.

First of all their prices have skyrocketed. Have stayed there several times not one discount offered. Bathrooms need updating. Black mold in the shower stall. Poor lighting. Price of room was 329.00 for king bed. It is pet friendly which is a plus. Ridiculous no amenities attached to the hotel for that price maybe offering a free breakfast.

The staff was pleasant, but this hotel is nasty. Smelled like skunk throughout the whole place. Definitely in need of a major overhaul. Didn't want to walk on the carpet because it looked dirty. Glad we were on a low floor because both elevators barely made the trip to the 3rd floor and back. Terrible grinding noise. Won't be back.
