Black Hat is the BEST!! They have been servicing our fireplace since 1992. Fast, courteous, knowledgeable. A few years ago we replaced our wood burning fireplace with a sealed gas insert. It has worked flawlessly until the batteries died on the receiver (user error!) and the unit would not turn off. The owner of the company was at my door within an hour, armed with fresh batteries and knowledge in case this ever happens again. That’s first class service! I called during a recent power outage on a Sunday and called the emergency numbers provided. I was able to get the battery pack connected and the fireplace running. Thank you, Bob, for following up so quickly to make sure my problem had been resolved. Great company, great products, and superior customer service.

Marian, Do you have a wood fireplace or a gas fireplace? There is a difference between how they are done also it is very helpful to know manufacture, model # and serial # because each manufacture has different latches. Please let me know. Thank You, Bob
All employees wear masks, and each employee goes through Covid precautions, such as temperature taking and filling out a questionnaire each morning before starting work. In our showroom customers are required to wear masks, and have their temperature taken and brief questionnaire filled out before walking around and talking with a salesman. Our install crews, and service techs, wear masks the entire time they are in customers houses, and will do their best to maintain social distancing from customers in their homes, and we ask customers to do the same.
