Wish I could rate Donovan's even higher for their catering at our wedding! It was so delicious and staff was very professional! Even though we has a buffet, they provided special accommodations for our family members with mobility concerns and served them plated meals. They were always communicative and were super helpful in making adjustments to our menu even just a week before our event!

DD catered my event in July. The food was very good. My reason for the low rating is a result of several issues. First was the delivery was nearly an hour earlier than the agreed upon time which meant I had to move food from inside to outside in stages to keep the cold food cold and the hot food hot. I ordered the cheese and cracker tray and no crackers were supplied. Only one bowl of pita points for 60 people so, of course, they ran out quickly. When I reached out to the staff member I was working with she was very apologetic and did, after several phone calls and emails, present me with the option to have a few free meals. My preference was a reimbursement of a small percentage of my $880 bill. After several more days, a credit of $20 showed up on my credit card. I sent another email asking if this was the final resolution and have, as yet, not gotten a response.

Staff needs some sort of diversity/sensitivity training. We attended a wedding last weekend and I overheard the red haired catering manager and one of the other caterers, a short man with a beard talking. She said "These people are wild". Now this was a predominantly African American wedding, and terms like "these people" can be very offensive. And at weddings, people are expected to have fun, nothing happened that was "wild". I'm not assuming this is an ignorant company as a whole, but that was an ignorant conversation and I asked one of the African american girls that was working with them if she's ever had a problem with them and she said she always has to bite her tongue because they always say insensitive remarks on the job with a few others too. Please do better. It's 2022.

You can find the reheating instructions on the label on top of each dish. They should be heated at 375 for approximately 30 minutes.
