We stayed in Cottage Number 7 [aka Gentle Summer Rain] for a week last month (July 2022) visiting from Cambridge, MA. It was delightful, restful, and comfortable and we felt well-taken care of. Lisa, the Manager, and her staff were wonderful- warm, helpful, attentive. Our cottage was a gem! So private and quiet, though so close to everything. We cooked in our cottage’s well-appointed kitchen and ate dinners out on the glorious screened-in porch. The views of the bay were spectacular! We sat in our rocking chairs watching all the action in front of us - stunning wildlife - pelicans, egrets, cranes; boats of all sorts, big cargo ships, barges with their tugboats, and windsurfers too. We could also see old historic Charleston with its church spires, Fort Sumter, and Sullivan’s Island from our perch! So much history out there. We loved our time there and have booked another week in November. Highly recommend this spot- close to heaven.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottages. We immediately started planning to return after one night of a 9 night stay. The view was amazing and we utilized the screened in porch morning noon and night. We loved to watch the barges and many boats go by us and the tides in the ocean. You have the option to order your groceries ahead of time to eliminate a trip to the store before check in. We also liked the option of ordering sandwichs, chocolates, and croissants to be in the cabin when we arrived The location is great with the resort next door if you want to hang out there to eat or enjoy the live music on Friday nights. Patrots point is a 5 minute walk for the tourist boats and Mount Pleasant is minutes away for shopping and more restaurants. Lisa and the office staff is very friendly and helpful if you need anything or have questions about the area. Would highly recommend.

These adorable, well decorated cottages are right on the harbor, taking advantage of the cooling breezes. There are two bedrooms with lovely ensuite baths on each end, which makes it super private for two couples. PLUS an extra full bath off the kitchen. Everything we needed was right there. We loved sitting on the screen porch watching the ships go by. Very nice pool with sitting area and ocean view. Lisa and staff were super helpful. Highly recommend this great place!

Excellent experience at the Sweet Blessing Cottage...you can not beat the views and the water lapping up on the shore 10 ft from your back door. I really enjoyed the home itself, super clean and quaint. Overl its very nice and peaceful....watch the boats pass on the fabulous porch.
