I visited this hospital to have a procedure done. As the radiology was to be conducted in building number five, I drove around looking for the correct building. Well, no signs for building five anywhere! All of the staff either did not know where building five was or gave me wrong directions. Finally went to the main entrance building in hopes of getting correct information and...I was in the unmarked building five! Even the entrance door clerk did not know that the building we were in was actually number five! A nurse in radiology says this happened all the time, that for the last five years they've constantly asked for a number "5" placed on the outside of the building. What next?

Horrible place to go. You sit in the ER for hours

I would like to acknowledge the outstanding care that Michelle Melendez and Brandy Sims have provided to my sister Glendia while she has been in the Prisma Richland location. Both of these young women have gone over and above to ensure that my sister receives the attention and care she needs.

Seems like most of the hospitals in columbia are truly terrible. I spent hours in the waiting room back in May. Just to be taken to another area to sit and hour than taken to another area where there was just chairs and curtains to separate me from other patients just to wait another hour and still didn't get no help. Just a guess with no testing, never told me the results to my blood test. Prisma really doesn't care. These corporate hospitals need to be boycotted or shutdown.

Agreed.
You are provided a room with a bassinet (baby rooms in with you) , meals, newborn photography, etc. I delivered here in October 2017 and I absolutely loved it. The l&d nurses and doctors were wonderful and attentive and even sent me a card in the mail congratulating me. Overall great experience there. And for the baby, everything was provided (formula, diapers, etc.) All I had to bring was clothing for the two of us.
I feel awful for you and wish there was BETTER CARE in that hospital but YOU ARE CORRECT and Dad is probably not going to make it out of there because of there uncaring ways.
Mark, Thanks for the information. I didn't know myself.👍🏼👍🏼
They have very good food and coffee. Starbucks is overrated, and most of the items have high calories.
24 hours a day
Good choice
I WOULD ASK FOR A OPERATOR. THE PERSON MAY HAVE BEEN MOVED TO A DIFFERENT PART OF THE HOSPITAL.. THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO HELP YOU GOOD HOSPITAL ..operator and front desk are one in the same.
I'm pretty sure they do
Suggest that you check with hospital. Hope all goes well on your trip! :)
Worst hospital in south Carolina. Administering HIDE BEHIND VOICE MAIL WON'T TALK TO YOU OR COME TO PATIENTS ROOM. SURGEON ARE GREAT BUT THE AFTET CARE IS AWFUL NOT FIT FOR A DOG LET ALONE A PERSON. FOOD IS WORSE THEN PRISON FOOD I took some to my dog they either buried it or pee on it. My father had been disrespected and talked to worse than anyone should talk to a elder Handicap person I personally almost caught a charge cause I opened door they way this penny woman was talking to him and then me I seriously told they need to call security officer or get her out of my father's room. If you love 1 is brought there by helicopter and gets surgery soon as POSSIBLE GET THEM OUT OF PRISMA HOSPITAL or they will get bed sores and pneumonia and other things. Dad has lost 60lbs under there care until I was out of Lexington hospital and could drive to bring him food and drinks and etc. TRYING TO GET HIM MOVED NOW. BEFORE THEY KILL.HIM..WORST HOSPITAL EVERY BEEN TO IN MY PERSONAL OPINION.
You will want to be more specific, what department are you trying to reach ? There is no general fax number for the hospital that will get your document to the correct place
Very complete hospital, both for adult and pediatric patients. It has 28 operating rooms, with an adult, pediatric and neonatal intensive care unit. It is a level II polytrauma center. It has a financing system in which doctors and surgeons do not charge for individual services, so there is no risk of overindication of diagnostic tests or treatments.
The hospital or a dr?
What is the question????
Call the hospital tell them you're doing a well check for your friend give them your name his name and what kind of illness he has don't know if they'll give you the information or not but you can at least try
Have your doctor set it up go to Medical Park 5 third floor which is the main hospital
I signed up through my Dr office. I guess if you were/are a patient you can contact the hospital. My Dr is affiliated with the hospital.
No 11th floor is
Stroke patients
What street is it located on. Not much from cola
Depends on severity. Most ICU patients are allowed two visitors at a time.
Not sure
They do not unless it is under an extreme circumstance and is causing life-threatening issues for the patient. By law, ERs in SC can't perform dental work.
No
