Good to know! I drive to Athens just for shows here at Georgia Theatre. I'd hate for this to happen.
11:30, or Noon
I am not sure I use the hotel near by to park
No
Those that are underage can attend with their parent(s) only, according when I asked the Georgia Theatre via email, as of 11/15/2018.
Even though the show is 18 and up your kids can come as long as they are with an adult.
Yes.
There is an elevator, and im sure they will help you get situated. Have fun, support live music ⚡
I would call them directly so they can possibly set something up for you.
The Holiday Inns (regular and Express) are both a 5-10 min walk to the theater.
Be first in line, the seats are on the second and third levels. There were maybe 30-40 seats total when we were there for two nights of Blackberry Smoke.
Like Chelsea Vaughn said, it's determined by the artist, but be aware that some will have cameras confiscated.
Get there as soon as the doors open. Blackberry smoke is sold out n those barstools will go fast
Not sure about hotels, but a quick search on maps will show you. "hotels near the Georgia Theater in Athens" will show them. But also wanted to mention that it is worth checking AirBNB as there are lots of options close by as well. Wife and I rented a great little guest house the other day just 3 or 4 blocks away and had a fabulous time at a show.
You need to call them n they will go over everything w u for weddings or private parties
Unless otherwise stated the seatingbis general admission for most of the theater. There are some reserved searings in the balcony but for the most part it's a standing kind of venue.
If its an all ages show they won't card you until you go to the bar. If its not an all ages show then its always considered 18 and up and yeah they will card to verify that person is actually 18
I would call. It might be ok with a parent or Guardian.
Depends on the band/artist, we saw " whiskey myers " this past saturday and it was only $30 for 2 tickets fees included....there is a roof top var and grill where they have the game on multiple Tvs....no cover charge...great food
Yes. Some shows may have age requirements so bring I.D. The Rooftop can be full with some wait at times. And for some shows you may have to then go to the back of a formed line before entering.
