Awesome! There is a big shallow pond for the dogs to play and jump in, an agility course for them to try, lots of Wooded areas to romp around and lots of friendly dogs to play with. Best dog park I've ever been to! It's worth the hour drive to spoil my German Shepherd.

Great bark Park with plenty of shade and benches along with a pond for dogs to cool of and swim

My dog enjoyed the bark park!! He couldn't get enough of the pond and new friends he met. I live in Statesboro and we have a nice park, but no pond. No worries. Good on ya Richmond Hill!!

This is the highlight of my pups week! There is So much that goes behind the scenes to keep this amazing park running smoothly. The pond is many dogs Favorite! My girl won't play anywhere else because she needs to water to cool off and then back to playing. The new abs improved wash station is great. Thank you so much for everything you guys do! Hopefully more people donate so we see this amazing park running for many more years

It is common this time of year and, unfortunately, even if treated will return. Once the temperature cools down it will die off and no longer be present. The Bark Park gets an enormous amount of runoff from the softball fields causing challenges with the pond. We are working with the county to mitigate the problem, then hopefully we can make improvements to the pond. While we’ve had no issues with dogs continuing to play in the pond, the algae could cause minor skin irritation and cause itching. With that in mind, we suggest taking advantage of the wash down area in the dog lobby and rinse your dog well before leaving the park. For some, this is standard practice with many even bringing along dog shampoo. If you are uncomfortable with your dog using the pond, please feel

Is there an enclosed part of the dog park without access to the pond?

Yes. It's intended for small dogs, but it's rarely used. Just be prepared to go to the other side if a small dog comes to play.
