Great question! First we assess to determine if the knee is really bone on bone. We find that less than 25% of the time the joint is really bone on bone. Severity of the joint degeneration helps us determine what routes we have. We use several different lubricant options, PRP and other regenerative products while correcting the basic mechanics of the joint. Unfortunately, though some joints are to late for a conservative approaches and surgery is the only option. But we would be more than happy to take a look and share some options with you.
