Dr. Sherrell and his entire team at Augusta Acupuncture Clinic are absolutely fantastic! Prior to starting my treatment plan in May 2021, I was battling constant stress, soreness & fatigue. After several treatments & chinese herbs, I began to notice a huge improvement in my mental clarity and energy levels. I just felt better! My stress levels were reduced dramatically, my overall energy levels increased and my recovery time between workouts seemed to decrease as well. For the last few years I have been dealing with trigeminal neuralgia. The pain is pretty intense, doctors at the VA tried all sorts of meds on me nothing seemed to help. After only eight treatments my pain was almost completely gone. I am not able to eat solid food and brush my teeth without my face feeling like It was being shocked by a taser. The staff there a super friendly and really make you feel that they care about your treatment and well being. I can tell you how life changing it has been for me to get treatment and return to a bit of normal life.

Medicaid in GA does not currently cover acupuncture. Beware of MD's that charge an Office Visit ICD-10 code and perform a procedure, such as acupuncture. Your policy does not really cover acupuncture. Insurance companies are known to do audits. When that happens, patients and providers are held liable. Do your research ahead of time. It's $360 for the first 4 sessions, including an assessment at the beginning and end. It's well worth it, in my opinion.
